Many people are using home air cleaners today. There are many types of home air cleaner available. These indoor air purifiers are nice because they are filterless and are capable of battling the smallest airborne particles, even viruses.
HEPA air cleaners are another choice. Using replaceable or reusable filters, an HEPA certified home air purification system will clear the air of 99.97% of all particles at 0.3 microns and larger in size. Included in the HEPA filter’s capable size range is dust, mold spores, dust mites, and most tobacco smoke particles. These are very reliable systems, but will not clear certain hazardous materials (which hopefully you don’t have in your home anyway) or viruses. Particles like that are usually handled with a ULPA cleaning device.
